CHJH Boys @ Hughes Spring

    On Monday the Chapel Hill Red Devils traveled to Hughes Springs in their most recent basketball matchup.  The 7th grade was led offensively by Ryan Shaver and John Robert French who scored 18 points and 10 points, respectively.   Defensively, the Red Devils were able to hold the Mustangs to just 3 points in the first half and won with a score of 41-12.

    The 8th grade team was led offensively by Bryson Schubert scoring 9 points and Braidon Thompson and Seth Billups who scored 7 points each.  The 8th grade team also started out with a defensive mindset holding the Mustangs to only 3 points the first half.  The Red Devils finished strong winning 28-20 in Hughes Springs.

    Coach Senn had this to say about his teams: "they have worked hard to this point in the season and I have seen them grow together as a team.  Defensively they are working together better than they ever have and we hope to carry our momentum into the new year and continue to develop."
